Community recommendations

Everyone wants to have a good time. Be respectful and communicate before entering an area with people already in it.

Stick to established trails. Make sure you know where your are going and be mindful not to create new trails.

Climber Clean ups

Since 2007 the Climbers of Hueco Tanks Coalition has hosted an annual stewardship day for Hueco Tanks State Historic Site.

We work cooperatively with the park to identify various needs and focus our attention to help get projects done. Over the years we have focused on projects such as trail maintenance, arroyo stabilization, trash clean up, making seed bombs, chalk clean up and many more. This event usually happened in the beginning of the year during the climbing season.
